This coming Sunday March 13th, I will make my debut performance on the Twilight Showcase program on WATD-FM, 95.9 in Marshfield, Mass from 7pm to 9pm. This long running program hosted by Sandy Streid and Keith James has hosted a Who’s Who listing of South Shore musicians and others with connections to this area such as Jonathan Edwards and Peter Yarrow. I will be part of the show featuring Stephen Martin as the main guest and in addition to myself, Karen Sauer and Cynthia Perkins will be performing.
This is the kickoff event for six weeks of publicity for my Drifting To The Right album coordinated by Cyber PR with Ariel Hyatt and Melissa Nastasi as my agents. We will be building toward an album release event at the end of April at Ultrasound Studios in Hanover, Mass which will be videotaped and then released via You Tube. Many of the musicians from the album will be part of the concert including Stephen, Joe Clapp, Fred Meltzer, Karen Sauer and possibly Brenda Jane Meehan, David Jackson, Cynthia Perkins and our guitar god Cliff Goodwin.
There will be a lyric video for the first single, Imaginary Tomato created by video artist and musician Kat Reinhart, There are tenative plans for a second video for the title song, Drifting To The Right which would be released next month. I will be contacting Club Passim and The Burren for possible bookings there. There have been two album reviews courtesy of Victor Infante and the Drooble Blog and a single review of Imaginary Tomato courtesy of Zachary Larson for Radio Airplay Many many nice raves from musician friends Peter Nelson, Suzanne McNeil and Neil Braverman from the Roslindale Open Mike. The album is on a roll!
Speaking of albums, I wanted to mention some good new albums coming out from other local musicians as we all emerge from the COVID pandemic. As a community we hold each other up with the good work that we all do. These albums are:
